How to prepare for JEE in 4 months

JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is a national-based engineering entrance exam conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) for the admission of students to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and engineering colleges aided by the government throughout India. Earlier, JEE was conducted by CBSE, but from the year 2019 onwards, JEE is organised by NTA (National Testing Agency) twice a year. NTA is an autonomous organisation by the Ministry of Human Resource Development for taking entrance exams. The JEE was formerly known as the All India Engineering Entrance Examination. JEE is divided into two different examinations, which are JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main is the first phase of the entrance examination in order to be admitted to engineering courses in NITs, IIITs, and engineering insitutions funded by state and central governments. The JEE Main is also the eligibility exam for the second phase of the exam, i.e., the JEE Advanced exam. The JEE Advanced examination is taken for the admission of students to the IITs and other engineering institutions like the Indian Institute of Science (IISC) in Bengaluru, the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISERs). JEE Advanced was formerly known as IIT-JEE (Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination) until 2013, when it was renamed to JEE Advanced.

If students want to get into an engineering institution but have only 4 months until the examination, then they should take note of these tips and start preparing so that they can crack the examination. Because JEE is not an easy exam to crack, it requires a lot of struggle. The following are the tips suggested to the students to follow:

• The students are required to get hold of the syllabus. The syllabus is really huge and the student should be an expert on each topic in detail. It is suggested that students make a list of the essential topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

• The candidates should clear their concepts of Class 11 and 12 because it would help them to understand the syllabus for JEE in an easier and simpler manner.

• The students are advised to establish a routine because they have much less time than the majority of the candidates who began earlier. The deal is to study smartly and prove the point that quality of time is more important than quantity of time.

• It is suggested that the candidates stay focused and limit their resources, as having too many resources would only add stress. They should analyse and list their resources so that they study in a planned manner and stick to the plans. It must be noted that students can not complete everything, so they have to keep it proper and in a simple way.

• Aspirants should make a division in their schedule because they are not in a state to afford studying without any deadlines. They have to allot their topics to certain days and have to finish them before the deadline.

• It is suggested to the students that they go through the information they get from the class. The notes that are given in class are very crucial because they turn out to be the root steps for preparation, and class is the only place where concepts get clear through the interaction among students and teachers.

• The students should go through the solved question papers of the previous years, which turned out to be a great resource. The question papers can be found online. JEE QUESTION PAPER If a student practises these and other test series, they tend to be in a better place than most candidates preparing for JEE.

 • Students should give time towards revision as well, because if a student keeps revising until the last second, it will be tough for him to remember everything during exams.

• It is suggested that they revise properly and stay away from unnecessary stress before the commencement of the exam.

• Students are also suggested to get the important books that are required for exams. The first preference should be the NCERT books because they are easy to understand. They can also get help from the Internet by using e-books and apps for their preparation.

• Mock tests are the game changers for aspirants because they help them to recognise their strengths and weaknesses. Mock tests are just like the dummy of the original exams. It also tests the management of time and how accurate they are with their exams and how much they are prepared for the big day.

• In the midst of all the stress regarding preparation, the aspirants are suggested to keep themselves motivated and take good care of their health, to eat and sleep properly because it would help them to concentrate during the examination.

• The students are also suggested to be confident in their understanding and to stop worrying about how they will perform.

• The students must have a certain way to answer their examination. All the factors like time management, accuracy, and question selection work with each other for success in the exam. The students should have a clear vision of which questions they can answer and which they cannot.

• There is another suggestion for the students: they should attempt the question paper in sequence. It is up to the student’s convenience in which sequence they want to answer. They can start with the subject they feel comfortable with. It will save time for the topics they find tougher.

• Students can prepare flash cards which would help them to revise the definitions and revisit the formulae.

With these suggestions for the students, it will be easier for them to prepare within 4 months and get success in their JEE examination.
