Amazing. This cartoon is a real depiction of situation on ground. If you try to understand or explain who is fighting against who and for what. You might say after couple of minutes that “What the hell is going on here”.

This is most confusing situation, human history has ever witnessed.

US, Britain, France, Germany, all are anti ISIS but they want to down Assad too. They gave money to Free Syrian Army to achieve the target but SFA fighters joined hands with ISIS and transferred all the money and weapons to them. The supply line is still continue through Saudi Arabia because this is only way to get Assad down.

Turkey is anti Assad too and it has joined US led coalition but It wanted to save its Kurd Part and do not want to allow US or western forces to make larger Kurdistan a reality.

On the contrary, US wanted to make Kurdistan as an independent country and providing Kurds all kind of support to fight against Syria, Iran and Turkey to get the Independence for their land.

US is anti ISIS but it is buying oil from them and allowing its Banks to fund those companies, which are buying Oil from ISIS on regular basis. US also wanted to get Assad down at any cost and that’s why sending all kind of support to so called Free Syrian Army through Saudis, although Obama administration knows that SFA is sealing those weapons to ISIS.

Russia is an old ally of Turkey but it is supporting Assad too and fighting against ISIS. After recent Turkey-Russia conflict situation has changed and Turkey_Russia relations are entered into frozen phase. Do not know now whether Russia supports Turkey’s stance on Kurdistan or not.

Iran is Anti- Saudi and Anti-West element in the region. It supports all the shia states including Assad. On the other hand, it also support Turkey on its stance against free Kurdistan issue.

Saudi Arabia is anti Iran and it can fund anything against it. They are against Assad and wanted to see out of power but they are against ISIS too, while they are supporting SFA both money and weapons, which are eventually transferring everything to ISIS.

Don’t you think, this all is very confusing and not easily understandable. I know you will also eventually say.
