  Aladdin City soon to materialize in Dubai

The Dubai Municipality (DM) is now in the track of finalizing the consultant for the design of its unique project based on the stories of Aladdin and Sinbad.

According to the Assistant Director General for Engineering and Planning Sector of DM, the model is currently at conceptualizing stage but the design consultant will be appointed soon.

The said development project is expected to be completed before Expo 2020, and the Municipality has been coordinating with other government organizations and other departments in the neighborhood.

The works for the city was planned to start next year and is expected to showcase three towers, covering an area of 110,000 square meters and 450 meters away from Dubai Creek. It will feature commercial and hotel spaces and air-conditioned bridges with moving floor to connect the three towers, driveways and parking lots in the shape of exotic marine life.

Other projects of DM are the Desert Rose which is expected to break ground in 2016 and the Satellite City sited at Al Aweer and Al Ruwaya areas spreading 4,000 hectares and will be linked to Metro Green line.
