Palestine— Israeli occupation forces detained a photographer Abdul Ghani Natsheh during his coverage of the visit of the delegation general secretaries of education and culture committees in the National Arab Ibrahim campus on the West Bank city of Hebron.
Natsheh reported to MADA immediately after his release that he went to portray the delegation’s visit, during which an Israeli soldier named Bashtmh verbally assaulted him with abusive words. Natsheh asked the soldier, the reason for the verbal assault and got into a verbal altercation instead.
Natsheh continued his speech, saying: “Then came an officer of occupation army and left me under the sun for an hour and a half. She tried to force me to sign a statement that I did not agree on, and I refused to do so.”
