Generation Dark Cloud the brainchild of the media

Generation “Dark Cloud” the brainchild of the media.

I could write a book about this problem, but rather give a quick tour of what is coming. Please Note: Many of my points have been researched to accommodate my conclusions.

Generation “Dark Cloud” is summed with the points shown below.

A)The fact that most Millennials and Generation Xer’s, do not have basic knowledge about the world, will eventually come back to hunt our generation.

B) The fact that fact people have stopped to question problems to serve their curiosity and raise their intellect will evoke a larger evil. Example: (During the Romney and Obama electoral debate harder questions should had been asked) Why is the Intelligence Community growing larger than ever before when Al-Qaeda is not a threat? Why aren’t the CEO’s of the banks that caused the global financial crisis not behind bars? What is HAARP used exactly for? …..The candidates must had felt relief that no one in the crowd dared to ask such provocative questions! (but maybe the questions were pre-selected)

B) The fact there’s too much information available online, with different points of views,  challenges any credible story to be taken for granted. Example: Fox news vs Msnbc vs Russia Today vs CCTV China vs Aljezeera vs thousands of online news publications. (Biased reality dissipates like fog of relative alternatives, so what coverage do you believe?!)

C) The media is not doing their job right and has created conspiracy bubbles ‘that will’ play an important effect when a few financial tsunamis impact. Example: Did the media not know about the Weapons of Mass Destruction? Did the media not know a huge financial crisis was stockpiling for more than one decade? Should journalist boycott the infected editorials ruled by many business that value money and allianze more than the informative impact of news? Who will the people blame in mistrust if another catastrophic event erupts?

D) Natural social skills have been replaced by electronic communication to the point people take basic communication for granted. Social skills due to this effect have declined to worrisome levels. Example: Is Facebook, texting and other communications ruining our way to interact? Is interaction based upon social media status or natural curiosity to know and discover individuals and life?  (In my opinion and without doubts, the older generations are way better communicators than todays generation by a long shot!)

E) Materialism has emerged strong for the past decade as a cancer that models a standard of living similar to the ‘survival of the fittest’ Example: Is materialism good for society? Does it promote individualism and self-centered results? Is having wads of cash sticking out your pocket and tons of makeup portray a perfect individual? Is perfection relative to the eyes of the beholder and not the lens of the media? Could the uneducated distinguish the problem with more information?

F) The work ethic has declined to dangerous levels relying exclusively on easy money (loans, credit), and todays generation is highly unlikely to survive without commodities as opposed to the older generations where their work created our present reality. Example: Does the media teach that the ultimate American Dream is to wake up rich tomorrow? Is the media teaching youngsters that 50% of people cannot pay back their loans?

All these problems and many more have made generation “Dark Cloud” an incompetent generation of Materialistic Zombies.

All the problems we see in todays world are somehow related with the brainchild of the modern day media, and the offspring of our scientific approach to survive.

But when “Dark Clouds” hit a financial crisis or a war, will they come up from their ashes like the past generations did, hence: Great Depression? Does this generation have what it take to lift up from scratch? As I will somehow prove, they cannot.

There is a difference between ‘Materialistic Zombies’ of the present, and ‘Robotic Slaves’ from the past.

Sir Francis Bacon once said that ‘knowledge is power,’ and there’s no doubt about the validity of that statement.

When the Roman Catholic Church operated during the “Dark Ages” Europe struggled with the same problem, as the uncivilized population was naive and rushed into stupid behavior because they were prohibited to read and write. knowledge was only available to a few cardinals and popes whom enjoyed the pleasure of wealth collected from indulges

As a result of stupidity. People chased witches, killed black cats, burned heretics, believed Jews were Satan worshipers because they bathed with soap, (which had an effect in preventing the bubonic plague) and without widespread diffusion of knowledge middle-agers became the puppies of the Roman Catholic Church.

Note: Things radically changed when the Gutemberg print massively started the widespread of bibles that triggered the uprising of the Protestant Reform Church in England.

If you study Nazi Germany and North Korea’s manipulative regimes, you may notice a few interesting similitudes that compare to the oppressive Roman Catholic Church.

Nazi Germany, came out the ashes of World War One, and it was only the ‘army’ not the people, who had access to knowledge and information prior to germanies uprising as a superpower in the late 30’s.

The German population depended greatly on the army reports to stay alerted on everyday political issues, history and world topics. Radio information and televised propaganda had a powerful effect to retain the “Aryan pride” inside the imagination of germans despite the many unsuccessful campaigns Germany lost during World War Two.

Have you ever wondered why germans did not raise up against Adolf Hitler? It would be logically to reason, that at least half the population knew that at one point during the end of the war, the Nazi brigades were going to finally succumb to the enemies fighting all the suicidal fronts germany fought. But the population reasoned differently.

The German public sphere was not allowed to question anything because it would had been considered treason, and therefore no one outside the military, could have accessed the information filtered by state networks without Joseph Goebbles permission.

The central key was that Nazi Germany treated their population well unlike North Korea or the Roman Catholic Church, so it was easier to manipulate people into believing for example that the “Aryan race was the master race” and victory was part of it.

So treating people well, was a key method to adopt propaganda and deflect negative resentment to anyone questioning the army’s programs, which led to nothing more than 6 million deaths.

Consider North Korea, why is NK so isolated from the world? Its a rather simple answers.

Its because by means of infusing propaganda and disassociating from the world (except trade with China), the dictatorship has postulated a smart way to brainwash N.Koreans without worrying of outside influences. They’re so brainwashed that just alike the people living in Nazi Germany, N.Koreans believe they can defeat the U.S. in a head-to-head combat.

Brainwashing is not unique to any government, but the gallons of bleach injected by the North Korean dictatorship to “blanq reason’ to its population is preposterous and presentlty can be only compared to Hamas, that broadcast Palestinian cartoons committing martyrdom in Memri TV on the state’s channel.

So from the 3 examples, we have learned that without the circulation of information people become obsolete to state power that modulate and shape communications. Giving people what they want, will allow any state to perform doubtful operations without popular consent, as long as it won’t interfere with people’s standard of living.

But the examples above only applies for the “Robotic Slaves” who perform according to what the ruling power pleases. But despite my own personal label, for the most part, these un-knowledgeable people would operate and thrive if given a new opportunity whereas it would be more difficult for our generation of “Materialistic Zombies.”

To survive the former Robotic Slaves enlisted in the army, or worked hard without relying on computers to accommodate their family and social needs. They experienced from a young age hardship, morals and reality, without distinction (wealthy or poor), and understood the struggles of life even though classicism existed. And when it came to reconstruct the U.S. after a war or a crisis, they proved to be effective, as without the accomplishments of the work force of the brave men who reconstructed the nation during the Great Depression, we would not be here today.

That will not be the case, for us if a crisis emerges. And the Dark Cloud generation will not withstand a financial crisis, a war and will be able to reconstruct from their ashes.

Kids of this generation, since a young age are shown hours upon hours of cartoons without any retention of reality whatsoever. In the past, kids were more aware of their surroundings.

Parents for the most part, have become feeders of unreality to their children, which have turned into spoiled little ‘mickey mouses’ that live inside a parallel world of fantasy realms and innocent magic.

It wouldn’t be a problem if children watched cartoons and also knew people die and the world can be a dangerous place, but many parents in their attempts to blot out reality as a benefit for their children have disregarded that human nature should not be forgotten.

The media promotes tons of unrealistic glimpses of imagination to children whom know nothing about hardship and reality outside of their television screen. With the addition of tablet technology into online servers those little children will become social failures glued to a fantasy world.

Are these kids by any means prepared for survival?

Once in high school, Its only natural a teenager becomes a teenager. However in their conquest to become knowledgeable they’re not taught to think outside the box (like Einstein, Edison, Tesla, Plank..), instead their taught poorly about the world in an educational system were the scientific agenda does not allow individual creativity outside the text books. (Let me remind you, that evolutinonary theory does not build I-Pads)

But even the social life of teenagers will suffer a drought, and people might say, how can you possible know that? You have to come back to the early adoption of technology in gaming to understand the problem.

I remember arcades as being cool places to socialize and meet people. Today empty arcade rooms resemble the sad mirage of the virtuous days when socialization in gaming was fun.  Technology now dominates the social lifestyle of many teenagers, whereas in the past teenagers dominated the social sphere.

Arcades evolved to be group friendly during the 70’s and 90’s, before their sudden collapse in the video game industry, replaced by one-way user game play. What many don’t realize is that the progenitors of Atari, started the one-way gaming experience, way before anyone else.

What companies settled to accomplish was to a have friendlier atmosphere, to the singular and boring one-way gameplay by creating a teenager like-model casino full of video games.

The idea lasted for 27 years. And the early adopters of arcade gaming almost always have great stories to tell about their experiences, “there is where I met you mom” or “That’s is where I met my best friend.” The fact is that even though video games might be bad, arcades were made to socialize.

Meanwhile, our present generation has become isolated from the world, locked into a fantasy room where all your undisclosed friends pass a mic check to be successfully connected online. And sadly many teenagers find their virtual friendships online, decapitating exterior social interaction.

Social singularization is an emergent response to our standard of living, and its made many  kids without exception of class, race or gender not experience the bigger social world.

I don’t want to get started with Facebook or Twitter because those are “social apps” designed to disconnect reality from fantasy.

No serious user has 1000’s friends, maybe a 100 max, but anything beyond those numbers is more than likely another way to say “I am famous, look at me.”

Either way….

Poorly trained, a small percentage of high school students makes it to college, and 35% will eventually drop-out (% depends on the state). But even those students that continue their quest for education, will find insufficient half of what they being taught, because its of ‘zero’ appliance to their future careers.

I am amazed that many college graduates don’t know even the “sesame street” basics about national politics or foreign policy. If these people are allowed to vote? Isn’t elections more of a ‘coin toss’ than actual foreknowledge about the policies party candidates represent? (If that’s the case, I want to allow my cat to vote!)

Even more worrisome, is the idea that ‘when everyone holds different information about the same topic, in the end, information itself declines in value.’

The problem today, is that unlike the past, we have so much information available that the opposite effect has taken place. Information has created distrust, bias and doubts among a cynical public sphere looking to feed the appetite for something that will fit their logic.

Todays generation is not brainwashed by oppressing governments like the “Robotic Slaves” of the past, they’re brainwashed by tons and tons of information which they can freely access in the web from an early age.

Not surprisingly, many media skeptics don’t even believe the most accepted stories. Take for instance, the Boston Bomber. I was shocked to go online and see thousands upon thousands of people believing the attack was a conspiracy masterminded by the U.S. Government!

Does the government hold any interest in the outcome of such distrust? Will it backfire? Yes, It will one day. And the clash will not be healthy because unlike the hippies, the “Dark Clouds” attend many universities and have much more access to information and alternative theories that might be more powerful and logical than those disclosed by official government press releases.

Generation “Dark Cloud” will be much worse than other generations. Because unlike the hippies who didn’t believe in the Vietnam war, the “Dark Cloud’s” believe the media holds great distrust in their disclosure of government reporting ‘including’ their own alternative counterparts.

To a degree, I blame modern day media, the government and corporate America for not communicating vital information to the public during critical awareness scandals.

And the results of such lack of critical information undermine the most basic principles of human intelligence.

The media might appear to treat people as “materialistic zombies” with no brains, but people are not un-logical, and distinguish quite well the difference between bad reporting “reporting on small events” or “reporting about strange events were the government doesn’t cover much questionable disclosure.”

And what is the result? The public sphere has become receptors of imagination rather than receptors of truth. They imagine what cannot be accessed, in a serious attempt to try to regain back the investigative journalism practiced in the past. Where the editorial ruled the desk, and not the business side.

This is why conspiracy theories have sprung like never before, out the depths of the imaginations of a misguided public sphere seeking for hard answers. Youtube has undoubtedly become the Fox-News of this conspiracist movement, and few people trust broadcast networks or their bias propaganda.

You cannot blame independent researchers for ‘trying’ to do a better job than the mainstream media, and some will get the stories and facts right, because not everything can possibly be a conspiracy without truth to it!

If journalist cannot question reality, why shouldn’t the public sphere?

Not everything is bad for journalist, as good underground journalism is still practiced (Teri Buhl is an example of great Investigative journalism), but is passed unnoticed 90% of the time in big networks because with controversy the wealthy may lose a few ‘upset sponsors.’

And quite frankly, we’re starting to understand the entrenched relations banks and government maintain when Lanny Breuer, former head of the criminal division of the U.S. Justice Department said, “I afraid to prosecute banks because it might affect the whole economy.”

The job of the prosecutor is to hunt down criminals not to trial criminals, that job was for Ted Kaufman, but Lanny took a decision worthy of being Lobbied and should be investigated.

But the worst part about generation Dark Cloud is the following.

Violence was a brand of the 90’s, but Materialism is a brand of the 00’s. In general, people do not want to be violent, but its much harder not to be materialistic. And the media has indoctrinated, a society where wealth meets the need of self-godliness.

Today’s materialistic atmosphere is the result of ‘capitalism gone wild’ (no regulations) that has resulted in Globalization for a corporatist agenda. If socialism radical brother is communism capitalism villain friend would be corporatism.

These kids grow up in a cyclical washer machine that never seems to stop, but it will under a devastating financial crisis.

The Dark Cloud generation is ‘clouded’ by so many problems and media discrepancies that is like packing a horse with TNT, Nitroglycerin, Uranium, Sulfuric Acid and run into a wall.

Generation cloud have become “materialistic zombies” as opposed to the “slave robots” during the eras of the Dark Ages, Nazi Germany. (North Korea is an exception)

Its honestly late to stop generation “Dark Cloud” and the results of these events will unfold in devastating fashion as anything ever seen before, hopefully not under a depression because this generation will not be able to get on its feet.

I am not ready for Mad Max 4.
