6 Tasty Cannabis-Infused Beers to Celebrate With

National Beer Day is here, and it’s time to get away from all the boring lagers and experiment with a cannabis-infused beer. These delightful brews have all the exciting flavors you’d expect from a typical craft brew, but with a cannabis kick. The beers featured in this post only contain CBD and not the THC ingredient, which is necessary to get you high.

However, these hemp and cannabis-based brews are very tasty and come with plenty of health benefits. Without further ado, let’s look at the six cannabis beers worthy of a mention on National Beer Day.

Stoner Duck

You cannot fault Venice Duck Brewery’s marketing – they are on to a winner with Stoner Duck. However, this beer wouldn’t make our list if it wasn’t excellent too, and there are lots to love about it.

A brown hemp ale, Stoner Duck, combines earthy and nutty flavors, making for a complex taste with some detectable fruity notes which provide a slight bitterness. As far as brown ales go, this cannabis-inspired choice is right up there.

General Washington’s Secret Stash

Dad and Dudes Breweria has developed an impressive CBD-infused beer called General Washington’s Secret Stash. This India pale ale (IPA) is available in Denver, and it’s almost worth taking a trip to the Colorado city just to have a sip of this beverage!

Mason Hembree, co-owner of Dad and Dudes Breweria, explained that it makes total sense to include a beneficial cannabinoid like CBD in a beer. The cannabinoid is a neuroprotectant and antioxidant but has many more medicinal properties that scientists are still establishing.

A pint of General Washington’s Secret Stash contains 4mg of cannabinoids in total, and this brew is 100 percent legal throughout the nation. Cheers.

Two Flowers

Coalition Brewing from Oregon brews two Flowers. The company made the world’s first commercially produced CBD beer, giving it a place in cannabis history. Premium CBD flower allows the body to process alcohol more efficiently, and the compound also helps to relax and reduce anxiety, see here for more info.

A 10oz serving of Two Flowers contains 5mg of perfectly legal cannabidiol (CBD).

Hopportunity Knocks

Another brilliantly-named brew, Hopportunity Knocks from the Caldera Brewing Company, is a world-class American ale, which bombards the drinker with a plethora of beautiful flavors. Expect a pungent grapefruit aroma complemented with some grassiness, topped off with caramel.

Hopportunity Knocks is balanced but has enough to intrigue a beer connoisseur. The bitter aftertaste can be off-putting for some, but that’s common with hop-centric beers. This is the perfect, cannabis-infused beer to kick back and chill with.

Hemp Ale

Humboldt Brewing Co. is behind Hemp Ale, which has a distinct and fascinating flavor, thanks to it being brewed with toasted hemp seeds. Hemp Ale is an award-winning beverage, scooping gold at the LA County Fair recently. Hemp Ale won’t make you high, but the presence of nano CBD, it helps in enhancing the overall effects of CBD vape juice.

makes for a pleasant, uplifting buzz – it’s the perfect social lubricant. And providing you don’t overdo it, you won’t have a hangover in the morning.

Hemp Hop Rye

Hemp Hop Rye is brewed by the O’Fallon Brewery and is made using toasted hemp feeds, giving it a similar flavor to Humboldt’s creation. Hemp Hop Rye is one of several cannabis-infused beers from O’Fallon, but this one is our favorite. It packs a flavorful punch and goes down smoothly.

Some Pinnacle CBD fans like the taste to caramel, but others find it nutty more than anything. This beer is certainly one you warm up to – an amber ale. It improves with every sup.
