Last night I took part in the France24 debate, which looked at Syria, and the options which are available to the West.
My specific contribution was looking at the situation from the Iranian angle.
I addressed questions such as:
- How does Iran see the Syrian conflict?
- What is the likely reaction of Iran to an attack by the US against Assad’s forces?
- How is the Syrian conflict viewed internally by Iran’s political factions?
My colleagues provided excellent and well informed opinions regarding various questions, including: how likely is it that Assad used Chemical weapons?
